INDIAN SECULAR Entrance (ISF) chief and MLA Naushad Siddiqui, was allegedly pushed by a person throughout a dharna mancha organised by authorities workers that he attended in Kolkata Saturday, police mentioned.

The MLA, who was unharmed, left the spot quickly after the incident, they added.

Police arrested the 35-year-old suspect, who they recognized as Sk Abdul Salam, a TMC panchayat member. Whereas Siddiqui was addressing the protesters, Salam approached him and requested what he had completed for the good thing about minorities. At the same time as Siddiqui tried to reply, he allegedly pushed the MLA. Among the protesters quickly restrained Salam and a police workforce reached the spot.
